About​ Claudia Lilje
​​Claudia Lilje obtained her Bachelors of Dietetics Degree at the University of Pretoria in 2010. She then completed her Community Service year at the Middelburg Hospital in Mpumalanga. She then managed her own Dietetic Private Practice in Equestria from 2012 - 2015. In 2015 she became a mommy and played the role of home executive while still assisting with health days and corporate talks. In 2021 she became part of the Wapadrand Medical Centre
Claudia is a conscientious, reliable, organised, computer-literate, enthusiastic and self-motivated dietitian. She has the ability to assess a client’s nutritional needs, develop a unique nutrition programme and then translate the science of nutrition into everyday understandable information about food.
Claudia is also a freelance health journalist and her articles have appeared in Balanced Life Foshini, RCS lifestyle, Weigh-less magazines and various others. Claudia has also featured on UNISA radio and is part of the Woolworths Dietitian Network. Claudia gives regular talks and workshops in the corporate environment including events at the Auditor General CTA Bootcamp, CTI college and VFV Attorneys.

Wellness can be defined in many ways. It is a multi-dimensional process, that includes occupational health, social health, emotional health, spiritual health and physical health. Physical health is comprised of nutrition and physical activity.
The study of nutrition indicates an understanding of the various components of food and the role and requirement of each of these components for the body.
Diet plays a very crucial role in the health and well-being of people. A good and balanced diet improves the quality of life to a great extent. Poor eating habits together with an unhealthy lifestyle could be a major cause of a lot of diseases such as Diabetes, Cholesterolemia, Hypertension, Overweight, Obesity, Micronutrient Deficiencies, Osteoporosis, Anemia and some Cancers.
